About Us
Hello, I'm Annie
I am the owner of the Mad Hatter's Pop Up Shop and I have been running my shop since 2018. This is a picture of me in my happy place, by the sea, walking along our beautiful coastal paths (just before my granddaughter got me with her super soaker).
Our aim and ethos at Mad Hatter's are to choose pocket money gifts, science and craft kits that are fun, stoke the imagination, encourage creativity and enable our children and grandchildren to learn while playing. We want them to have hours of fun with our gifts!
And it matters to me as a scientist, parent and grandparent that our gifts are eco-friendly, as I love our beautiful planet as much as you.
We aim to offer you gifts that are Joyful. Sustainable. Affordable. Fun. And you can buy Gifts That Don't Cost The Earth!

A quirky and unusual selection to differentiate from the gifts you might find in every high street shop.
Of high quality
We buy from reputable wholesalers. Many of them have won the Independent Toy Awards and Gift of the Year.
Pocket Money Prices
We aim to give you a great selection of gifts which are also great value for money.
Genuine Gemstones and Fossils
The fossils, rocks, minerals, gemstones, geodes and crystals are all genuine natural scientific artefacts, not toys. They are our best sellers by a mile.
